-SOLD-. It would take too long to go into all the different sounds of this little monster, there are so many different switches, modes etc., but I dialed in my favorite sound for each channel with my strat to give you a good picture. I does real great high gain stuff too, by the way.

  • What cab you were using there?. I mean with what speakers?

  • that cab has the 25W celestion greenbacks.

  • Hello!

    I liked your tone!

Do you know how much it (head) weight?

    thanks!

  • no, sorry... but I do remember that it is pretty heavy!

  • hey, could you tell me what mic and soundcard/interface did u use to record the sound? That's great quality :)

  • Sure, all it is, is a sm58 going into an old m-audio 410, which is acting as an audio input for the iMovie program.

  • Gibsons might be overpriced, overweight, and (to some) uncomfortable to play, but you can't get that tight, punchy bark with a Fender. You can't get Fender's pop, spank, and chime with a Gibson. Can't compare apples to oranges.

  • Great tones. I seriously come back to listen to this on a regular basis cuz it just sounds so damn good.

  • Dude,Mesa should fire Petrucci and hire you to demo their amps. Seriously.

  • This is by far the best amp I have EVER owned! And trust me,I've owned them ALL!!

  • Incredible tone! What's your settings on amp? And do you have compare the greenbacks with the EVM-12l?

  • Is that strat a dakota or fiesta red?.. either way.. looks superb.

  • Nice! Can't believe you got rid of that amp

  • @JackTheLever fair enough. I don't like EMG's for their sound, I preffer passives too, but I have never heard this horrid fizz that you described. It's a tight and articulate pickup, albeit very sterile and compressed, it can make a truly good player shine, I had this proven to my face. You should give them another try. Hetfield and Gilmore swear at them for a reason.

  • @readonly999 Nope! I do like metal tones, but I hate active pickups! I don't think you can get any good tone out of them, especially on an ESP/LTD! Still, that's my opinion and I judge by what my own ears hear...

  • @JackTheLever it sounds like you hate metal tones in general :?

  • @metalpride15 Hey, I'm not even a Fender fan and I don't think I would buy a Fender for my main guitar either (I'm a PRS man!), but for crying out loud, an ESP/LTD with EMG sounds like trash compared to a Fender! Too much treble because of the horrid pickup EQ that EMG has set, too much bite and a tone harsher than a cheese grinder. Seriously, kid, get a life! Go play with a real guitar and then come troll about Fenders! End of story!

  • @metalpride15 Are you on dope, metalhead!!! Steroidboy!!
