Instructional video how to convert an aqua culture dual air pump into a vacuum pump. Reverse the valves inside by turning the rubber seal and the blue valve assemby as shown. You can use this for filling bottomless fish tanks or sucking air out of tubes. Whatever your purpose here is a quick and easy guide for the conversion.
@nitrojunkie11 It's at least 1.5 PSI, that's what my aquarium pressure is at, but I think it's around 10 or more PSI capable. I've seen people vacuum seal food packaging and it works great. It pulls around 2 cubic feet every 5-8 minutes while at around 1-2 PSI vacuum from my aquarium testing experience.
@freercsimulators technically its Hg and 2psi is about 4Hg (vacuum measurement) so 10PSI or more would be 40Hg in vacuum pressure. I've seen most mini pumps are 60-120Hg and larger ones designed for vacuum I've seen over 200Hg vacuum.
any idea on how much vacuum you get from it?
