Thunderbirds is a British mid-1960s television show devised by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and made by AP Films using a form of marionette puppetry dubbed "Supermarionation". The series followed the adventures of International Rescue, an organization created to help those in grave danger using technically advanced equipment and machinery.

  • I love how the puppets have two heads. Virgil gets a different "troubled" head later, right?

  • 7:38 GLORY MOLE

  • @zeizzie water boils into vapour at 100% celcius. with the temperature in the pit way above that, chances are that if a huge vat of water was tipped into the crater, the water would have evaporated before it had even struck the surface of the Sidewinder at the bottom, and what little water that made it through would have been evaporated on the machine's metallic surface, which would have superconducted the heat of the crater. water: ineffective.

  • if they have to remove the crust at the top of the pit, WHY is Virgil laying explosive at the bottom of the pit?

  • cant they just drop a water bomb over the fire??

  • @virgil2tracyTB2 afterall thanx to brains the thunderbirds exist if im right

  • Is it just me or is the Mole's auger turning the wrong way?

  • @thygro1 don't make fun of brains.

  • this is one of my favourites.

the recovery vehicles are awesome. but why only one use

  • @RyouRan In fact, a few more heads would pop up later in the series :)

  • This is it! When I was a kid (10 years ago?) up in Canada, we used to have reruns of Thunderbirds. I could vaguely remember a vehicle in the desert moving out to the left with a drill. I've finally found the episode!
