A 1982 radio commercial for Don Drennen Buick in Birmingham, Alabama, with an elaborate jingle song and people talking about why they love the Buick Regal. This was broadcast in December 1982 on Birmingham radio station 900 WATV in Kahn-Hazeltine AM Stereo (although the commercial itself was only recorded in mono).

I was not around in the 80s, nor was I old enough to understand English during the former half of the 90s, but I don't think we've ever had a radio advertisement this good in the United Kingdom, regardless of age (at least as far as I can remember).
