  • @U38066 I think that's his granddaughter... the last photograph (with dog) is with Rachmaninoff and his daughter Irina (taken in 1913).

  • TCHAIKOVSKY's HUMORESQUE was written in December 1871 and January 1872 for piano.

    MOLTO BELLO!!! Thank you for sharing this Brilliant Performance of one of the finest pianists and composer SERGEI VASILIEVICH RACHMANINOFF (1 April 1873 – 28 March 1943).

  • What a great recording, both the playing and engineering. This piece must have had some influence on Rachmaninoff's own humoresque from his Op. 10.
