I disagree with you slightly. As a patriot and peacelover I see it as a patriotic duty to avoid war and destruction unless backed into a corner. Wars of agression and/or wars for profeteering warmongerers however should be detested by every non bullshitting patriot. And no, Im not american. maybe that has influenced my view on patriotism and nationalism. I can only tell it as I see it from my perspective.

Rand Paul never said he would alter the CRA. He said he thought the issue would be better resolved through free market forces punishing the bigots and rewarding the accepting business owners.

Sorry, Paul gets a lot of support for his stands on war and the legalization of weed. But the Ayn Rand stuff is just crazy. Balanced budget is one thing, killing off the Civil Rights Act and the EPA are just plain crazy.

She voted along with the neo-con liars for another war for oil while Ron Paul was on the House floor naming the neocons by name and protesting the Iraq war as an act of aggression.

Just as bad as her Iraq vote was her two times of voting along with neo-cons to pass the PATRIOT Act. The Patriot act dissolves the 4th, 5th, and 6th amendments.
