  • @sebastianjapan It is a melody from the Honkyoku piece of music known as TAMUKE.

  • Did shaman or magi use this instrument in the past? Was this a tool of their craft?

  • It's possible but not normal. It was a zen tool for meditation. But the monks with the most experienced crafted many fine flutes, so it was a craft...and art

  • the hochiku flute can be used for many reason, if you say that I imagine one good reason to use that :)
