@DriftAnime I know right? the weapons were so advanced, shame the 64 could barley handle it. I think they should've of waited for the next-gen consoles (PS2, gamecube, Xbox) to release the Extreme G series.

Is it me or were these games way beyond their time? I mean, in the non game story sense. I think the old Acclaim was thinking of future game consoles when they made this series. Sucks they got bought out, i dont even know if the new "Accliam" will be continuing XG. This series and Wipeout was what got me into electronica. XGRA then got me into Electronic Metal and i found one of my all time favorite producers.. Celldweller.

i was 11 or 12 as i played this game, never listened to the soundtrack. Now i'm 22 and i love DnB, and now i know how fine the soundtrack of this game was.

I think the XG games and the SF Rush games have alot to do with why I started listening to Front Line Assembly and other industrial bands... the mix of breakbeats and synthesizers is quite similar.
