Brian Wilson Darlin 1995 with Wondermints

I think that's the 1st time the Wondermints played with Brian, it was for a radio show around 1995, Andy Paley was there too, that's when Brian said "If I had Wondermints in 1967, I would have taken Smile out on the road.", we know the rest is History, a really rare document :)

I don't understand why you would call this "humiliation" or a "freak show." It's NOT THAT BAD!! Guess what?? He WANTS to be performing his music. No one is "rolling him out," as if he has no choice in the matter. No on is forcing him to do ANYTHING! You people who think this way need to get over this misconception that Brian Wilson is being brow-beaten into performing to satisfy so-called "leeches" in his life. He is his own man. He does what he pleases. He has said so himself. Period.

Without the Beach Boys, music today would be completely diferent. How many bands in the past 20 years have been affected by bands from the sixties? No matter what his critics say, Brian is still a master of the rock genre. I will remember him as such.

@bwsmyhero I know your comment is 2 yrs old, but got to respond here. BW doesn't know WHAT he wants, and he IS being pushed out onto stage. Stop believing the David Leaf/Malinda Wilson party line. BW blew his mind severely and permanently a long time ago. And productive or not, he has always needed some authority figure to order him around and control him, whether Murry or Gene Landy. From what I hear, BW don't know what galaxy he's living in anymore.
