Possibly the most affecting film I have seen. Leigh has an eye for detail that makes all his films engrossing. Have seen this one about eight times - my favourite.

Brian's a very calm fellow, I would have been kicking Johnny's ass if he talked to me like that.

My Dad showed me this when i was around 9 in about 1998. He just showed me this scene cause he didn't want to scare me. But i seriously think it shapped who i was as a person. Really changed my life!

For those of you who don't know, much of this scene was used in the song S.A.L.T. by The Orb. It's quite a good song because it's just this scene's audio.
