Billy Preston played Rhodes on Get Back, I've Got A Feeling, One After 909, Don't Let Me Down and Come Together. The Rhodes has a place in rock music too.

jazz music was originally and still is somewhat about being a pioneer. an instrument shouldn't be limited to one type of music. most of the joy in playing and creating music is finding new enjoyable sounds. i think martha my dear sounds good on the rhodes. play on brother!
