This is the first time I used a shop vac to clean scallops. It is much easier than the old spoon method. Still, it took 3 hours to clean 6+ gallons of scallops. Next time I think we'll use the assembly-line method, where Cassie can select the open scallops, Joe can remove the first shell, and I can suck out the guts and remove the meat.
Cleaning the scallop with the vac isn't the hard part, cleaning the vac after all the scallop cleaning is the HARD part! lol
