  • R.I.P to my beloved father.....R.I.P Celestine Ukwu and thanks for making this timeless song!!

  • When trial comes, it seems the world just keeps on going

Whoever goes to the Supreme God, after, it will be better

When trial comes, it is the work of the Devil

Whoever has patience, after, it will be better

Don’t listen, if they tell you to climb up

Don’t listen to the talk of the children of this world

No matter what you do, the children of this world will surely talk

  • This real igbo music...I can listen to this all day!

  • @remkol88 definitely one of the best 100 songs ever composed in the world....it makes me cry everytime

  • un gran saludo con todo amor ...

  • ...when death comes, it feels like d end of d world, but if u have faith in God, in d end it will b alright.

...when death comes it feels like d world has ended, when death comes, it's d work of d devil, but if u hv patience, eventually it will b alright.

...don't listen to d gossips of d ppl of d world, b'cos whatever u do d ppl of d world will gossip.

    r.i.p.!!

  • Onwu gburu Celestine Ukwu, a maghi egbu. Ka Ezi Chineke anyi nye mkpuruobi ya ezumike n'ala nke eluigwe. I seee e e ee ee. Umu Igbo k'anyi kele Chukwu maka ihe oma nile O na emere anyi, na ngozi Ya nile.

  • SOOOthinggggggg,and soul refreshinggg

  • This is one of the greatest songs ever composed. I do not know the meaning, but it touches every fibre in my body. R.I.P great man.

  • real soul ...I heard this song growing up . It burst tears on my eyes when I look back at it. Igbo kwe nu!

  • I'm not able able to desctibe how I felt whenever I heard this music and others like it. The memory of childhood keeps me think it'll be alright one day. Celestine Ukwu had the finest lyrics and arrangement nobody else could. I'm not sure his band and family preserved his legacy.. We missed him

  • always so wonderful and soothing. Just like balm for the soul!

  • plz does any body know about his family? My son who is 5 yrs old is curious about our beloved legend.

  • Same arrangement as the theme from "masquarade" Zebrudiah Okoroigwe Nwogbo, alias 4.30!! ha ha!

  • i'm proud of u Bidybi.

  • Meeen! Back in the days. What a lovely music

  • Celestine carry goooooooo! super

  • So true today as it was yesterday. What a Philosopher ! What a song.

  • my mum translated it for me. Broadly speaking it means, no matter what you do now matter what you say people will always criticise you and say what you have done is not good (first half of song ) then Agan nanti (sorry my igbo spelling is atrocious ) Don't hear them / Don't listen to them.

  • This is the song, when I was a kid and was being bullied (at the time I didn't think it was), I used to listen to this song just to get me to a place of peace (my aunties & uncles are surprised that I love this music, lol). I had no idea how relevant the lyrics were!!
