Nina the Snake

We really don't know what species/kind of snake this is. We found this in one of our unused rooms in the house. We went to the animal hospital to have this identified but nobody really knows what kind of snake this is. When we checked the forest reserves center, thier "snake specialist" was also out. We figured it will be better to put this in a container and wait until someone could identify this for us.

As of now, the closest match we can get based on our readings through the internet points to this as a ratsnake. we are ignorant to this so it will be helpful if "experts" can do this for us...

Where did you find this snake? I think it may be a Water Snake. I work at a pet store in PA and some dude came in with one for us to identify like this one. It could be a rat snake though too, but the photage is too unclear. Any more you can post?
