Mom and I took Cody and Boo out to the trails behind the house and barn, on the weekend. I'm riding Cody, mom riding Boo. She was riding English, I'm riding Western (which is how I got away with having only one hand on the reins).
Recorded on my phone *Hugs her Samsung Infuse*.
I'm super rusty at riding, since it's been a few years since Jimbo passed away, but I still remember some basics. Though I think I had too much slack on the reins ~_~ Luckily, Cody's fine while your riding, just a bit of a brat with ground manners when your not riding.
Boo is mom's and is a Quarter Arab (half Quarter horse, half Arabian) and Cody is my dad's, a Quarter horse.
Cody's pretty smart - he manages to learn things by watching, even when you don't want him to. Watched my dad unplug the water trough to clean it, once, and now Cody will put his nose in and unplug it, himself -_- turns the hose on, tried to duck under a fence board after watching me do it, etc. He's a bit of a scooch. However, he doesn't spook easy, at all, even with loud bangs. He's just all "Whatever ~_~". Hell, he stands in front of the sprinkler to cool off.
Boo is a sweet heart - the type that likes to just hang around with his head over your shoulder and fall asleep. Total slobber, though, when it comes to any sort of treats in your hand, lol. He'll lick your hands for the crumbs and salt. He spooks a little easily, though.
cody looks like my old quater horse. but now i have a halflinger ^^

@mangarider14 Gyuh, I ended up posting to my own vid instead of replying to your comment -_- *Needs more sleep* *Copy + paste...*
Nice! Whats their name? I admit to not knowing much about haflingers x_x Do you ride English or Western? Or both? o_o I ride a little bit of both, but I prefer western...
Man, I haven't ridden in over 10 years, since our last horse passed away... the old man was about 30ish, when he did. o_O I'm so rusty at everything equine now. ~_~
