General Hospital - Jul 97 Monica/Ned panic about Brenda

July 2, 1997. Edward dispenses some advice to Monica about how to treat Emily. Ironically, he's probably right! Just as Monica and Ned are feeling a bit more secure that nobody will find out that Emily murdered Dorman (at least that's what they think happened), they watch the news and find out that Brenda has been arrested for killing Dorman. Monica and Ned can't believe it and can't believe the police found a murder weapon since Ned disposed of the bloody scalpel himself. They keep the news from Emily. Ned heads off to try to find Sonny. He ends up at the police station just as they're bringing a handcuffed Jason in. (I didn't clip the part where Jason helps Sonny evade the police surveillance so that he can go to Brenda's hideout.) Monica and Emily are about to do some joyous shopping when Edward bursts into the room with news about Brenda. Emily can't believe what she's hearing!
