    He was a great guy and an amazing writer and historian. I know I'm a bit late, but r.i.p to David Ross

  • @M1dnightSou1 Aye there are bits that just can’t be beaten and I’ve travelled to quite a few parts of the World including your USA as I have relatives in VA and NY. Well you’ve a very good heritage if you’re a Murray. Cameron and Douglas for me as well as a few other Scots family names: -) There are many castles in Scotland as what you see at Edinburgh is really not the old original Medieval fortress

  • @tinarowena , I am Scottish too, my great grandparents were from the Highlands and fought with Wallace in medieval times! Nothing beats being Scottish blooded!

  • David Robertson Ross was a true son of Scotland. Im sorry i didnt appreciate you enough when you were here Dave but i realise now and thats enough. An inspiration to a generation. It was nice to know you personally and feel your passion for Scotland. Rest in peace son of Scotland.
