I took a third loading day because of the loss of weight when I was supposed to gain and my crazy hunger. We'll see what happens when I weigh in the morning
One thing you might like is the Wii Fit. I just got one and I love it! It will keep me so motivated throughout this diet and it is the one thing I just could not live without!
grapes aren't allowed in the protocol. Any change will lessen your results and it's not worth it! You will feel mentally hungry for a while so just embrace it! Every moment that I feel like I want to eat I embrace the thought and think "this feeling is the difference between my old self and my new self" you can say no. I lost on my second loading day and I've done really well. 20 lbs down in 28 days. It gets easier. first and fourth week were the hardest. Good luck! Read the protocol lots.
I say instead of cheating with allowed foods...fill up on liquids instead. Drink tons of water, hot tea or coffee, but not food! It will help on those first weight loss drops. Tough it out..the first week is the hardest! Cant wait to see your progress ;-)
I laughed when you were showing your knees. My dd is 18, 5'9" and 136# and she goes on about how thin her knees are now that she's lost 30# on Sparkpeople. I guess it is a tall-Girl-Thing! Guys look at your legs, right! She has "space" between her thighs now, too. Oh, and ABS from all the TaeBo.
You were smart to do a 3rd load day. If you are already hungry now, your first 4-5 days on the VLCD will most likely be very difficult, until your body goes into ketosis. If you feel ready to give up, take a teaspoon of coconut oil, it is very effective at throwing your body into ketosis. And if the desire to cheat overcomes you - if you cheat only by eating a bit more from the foods on the allowed list (except for the grissini or melba), the outcome will not be as bad. Wish you the best! :-)
