Dan's really in great voice on this performance. This was not always the case on some of his later videos, although of course the music was always as fine and strong as ever.

He was what music so lacks today

Besides his great music, Dan's life is a message about checking yourself for cancer. I have family members who have had prostate and breast cancer. It's an equal gender victimizer. That's not to take away from what he did in his all too short life.

Keep an eye on your local PBS station, I have caught the full "Soundstage" concert twice.
It is fantastic.

Actually, if you go back to the beginning he really had come "full circle" to his roots in country rock. I loved his earlier stuff the most! There was no one better in my estimation!

I love the country flair! Dan could do anything and it sounded fantastic. What a rare talent. I so regret never seeing him perform live.
