Wrath of the Moon King: Balance Solo AoE

Quick video showcasing Balance Druid's new and powerful solo AoE proficiency.

Sidenotes:

-This was filmed at level 70, fighting the Scourge that attacked several zones as an event before the release of WotLK.

-Like most AoEing, this only really works well vs. mobs that melee.

-Typhoon can be a lifesaver, but make sure you jump away before you cast it so all the mobs are hit.

-Barkskin helps mitigate damage and lends pushback resistance right off the bat. If Barkskin is down, no worries. Owlkin Frenzy should very quickly with multiple mobs on you.

-The Gale Winds talent lends a big increase in AoE damage.

-If Starfall is down you can facepull packs on your mount, or just spam insect swarm 'til you get a good number of them on you.

-Thorns does solid damage now that it scales with your Spell Power.

-PvP gear is helpful to survive all the mobs beating on you. Without all that extra armor and health I doubt I could take so many at once.

-Bring health pots, just in case. This method can be risky, especially when using starfall. It's extremely easy to over-pull.

-Cool kids jump whenever they cast any instant spell. Ever.

@2boss4u well this is an old comment but ill answer anyways....first you go into the interface and choose camera then take that scroll bar that sees max camera distance and drag it all the way to the right. I hope this helped you with your little problem. =D

the Hurricane aoe crits don't restore mana any longer. Damn those blizzard noobs for giving us power and taking it away from us! Anyways, im a level 80 NE moonkin. Havent played wow for a while but then again I did all the heroic dungeons the first month of wotlk so there isnt that much to do left :(

Only works this well with starfall and owlkin frenzy, (owlkin frenzy gets rid of all pushback and gives 10% more damage, also moonkin has all that armor so you last so long, and the starfall drags everyone and stuns them like mad, so you get hit less) :PPP
