When new fliers get into trouble they kill the power. I know as it is what I did. You think the damage will be less. You should hit the power and get it up there so you can re evaluate the sitcho and bring it down.
Keep up the flyig dude.
cheers from Aussie

I think it means that the tape is about to run out. By the way, just trying to be helpful here, but your pitch and throttle curves in normal mode are not set right. You shouldn't be able to hear the engine rising and falling when hovering around like that, even if you drop the collective a little. This is real important if you are to proceed and get better. Not enough room here to give you the know how, but if you research on net you'll find the info.

it aint funny when it happends but we all do crash sometime soner or later nomahter how good we are ;) anyway tell your camera man to shut up while your flying and ask questions later!

Ouch...that's a hard landing. I'm not sure what you did? It looked like you were trying to land like a "planker". You're cameraman needs to keep quiet, while you concentrate. OH well, these 500's are very robust(is it align parts?). Damage should be minimal. In my 8 crashes I've never bent a main or spindle shaft. However, I crash soft from less than 10 ft. Here's me(search: "white trex500 inverted"). Keep on flying.
U need to get your heli setup right, looks like it needs a load of tweaking, was this your first ever flight with a rc heli???

Hi You are correct. This was the first flight after a massive complete rebuild. The tail servo need to be moved for a correct center, too low of rotor speed ect. Scott 1-15-2010
