Eddie Puss is a lecturer in psychology, one night he after he has a few Martini's for Dutch Courage, he plucks up the confidence to go and get his cherry popped so that he can finally practice what he preaches to all his students ... however ... unintentionally Eddie Puss accomplishes the Oedipal Complex accidentally.

This was the first film I tried a soundtrack by ADR with the band The Black Swans of Trespass, recording live in the studio with live mix down to the film visuals. It was also a script that was optioned to a group of Melbourne VCA students, it caused a certain degree of infighting as half the group were super keen to do it but the other half feared they might upset family at their end of year screenings with the film's content.

  • Esldave,

it had a real organic feel with the musicians in the studio laying down the track to the footage. I would certainly do it again on a larger project. The banjoist has a jazz background, perfect for syncing with the footage.

The vibrator line had to stay in though we had some trouble with the footage - it is the reason the lights are out,it went in as an overlay of walking down the hallway. You can hear the Dolly on the floor but it sounds like creaking foot-steps! :)

  • Unfortunately something buggered up with the aspect ratio ... grrrr!

  • Haw haw ~ acting is the strong point ... the Madam at the desk is great ... favorite part being the vibrator that short-circutted the power ... & whoever had the idea of the banjo ~ strange but it worked ... I guess somehow banjos & incest do fit together ... Brilliant!
