@ledzeprox666666 expand your mind people, enter the negative planes.

Dada is mere tongue in cheek art. It challenges, you dont have to appreciate or dislike it; you merely take it for what it is. Use it as a philosophy against narrow minded art. It makes you think.

Who doesn't like to be fucked?!

@OscarApollo You nailed it! DADA is utterly contrary and nihilistic, work of DADAist is sort of Trojan horse sent to the public.... it's fascinating how DADAists were autodestructive and fatal to the whole concept of art, their work was anti-art, but still, concept of artwork survived them... tho it was never the same.

hatte ich in einer Vorlesung, mein Freund musste schön lachen... gell mimi :D

@ryu8888 I see what you mean. If you actually say you enjoy Dada, then the point of Dada is lost - but then again, if you actually complain about Dada, then the Dadaists win. So, basically, Dada is trolling in art form.
-
@OscarApollo it's retarded that people are intensely proud and protective of crap like this. The pretentious attitudes kind of subvert the whole "fuck you high society" attitude.
-
@ryu8888 That's the point.

Ugh. utter shit...
As mesmerizing as this is bear in mind that like virtually all dada work, the underlying message is 'fuck you.'

Hugo Ball was one impressive chap. He was one of the very very few German (indeed European) intellectuals to denounce WW1, very early. This is not banal at all. When all the highbrow thinkers were shamelessly mongering for imperialist world war annex million mass murder, the "insane dadaïst" kept his nerves. It's interesting to note, that he (Ball studied philosophy) explained the catastrophe out of Kantian philosophy...
And thanks for posting. I once uploaded Kurt Schwitters' Ursonate.
