thanks kevin. i'd love to hear your other rendition. i got attached to the lovin spoonful's version way back when. then i heard taj majal do it , maybe @ woodstock? but i'm just now gettin around to tryin out that tune my own self. so many songs, so little time, eh?

@scentmuse : For a long, long time I thought Taj wrote it as well. But now I'm pretty certain it was in fact written by Henry Thomas, whoever he was (is)? Thanks for your kind words. I'm personally not all that crazy about this version of mine (this particular one), although my friend Debbie did an outstanding job on the graphics. I've got another, somewhat newer version out there somewhere on the Kevinsdoor channel ........I'm a little better at it now :) ~ Thanks for your kind words, Kevin
