There is no doubt in my mind that this is the better version of this song. It's a shame more people do not listen to this and recognise her talent.

This is by far the best rendition of this song by any singer - cannot stand the Bette Midler version, too whiny. We Aussies all knew this was the version that should have been released when the film Beaches came out - Midler trashed the song! Collen Hewitt deserved to be discovered internationally.

This is my all time fav from my years in Australia (81-76). The most beautiful version - I still dont understand it why it was not Colleen who sang in the movie. The Bette Middler's version pales in comparison. Love her then. Is this album available in CD? The album is probably the best Australian album then.
