Don't support this pairing? You probably aren't familiar with CLAMP (I mean, hello? Tokyo Babylon, X/1999, RG Veda, Legal Drug, Clover, Duklyon?!) CLAMP absolutely loves homosexual couples, if you haven't noticed. Btw, if you want the next video to be up earlier, please send me any evidence you can find of gay/lesbian couples in CLAMP's past works (manga pages, episode clips, etc.) It would be an AWESOME help & even the tiniest bit of info would be great.
In Horitsuba Gakuen (alternate CLAMP universe with characters from Tsubasa and xxxHolic), Fai tells Yuuko that he recorded Kuro-pipi singing in the bath and plays the recording over the school intercom to tease him. Later, he dons a beautiful kimono (more cross-dressing) and complains to Yuuko that Kurogane wouldn't let him wear the maid outfit (!!!) What does that tell you...? Keep in mind, this is an official CLAMP work.
Fai x Saku ~ Fai is many things. He is: a magician, a twin, a former prince, a vampire, a drag queen, a compulsive liar, a fake, an alcoholic [Chapter 161, page 10, he prefers liquor over food], a homosexual, and a sexy beast. But he is NOT: a pedophile. Ok? Ok.

To be fair, when Fay is a lonely, desperate character who hides behind masks and false smiles and identifies with pretty love songs by admitting that he's also 'waiting for someone who can stay by his side,' and Kurogane is a straight forward, honest character who manages to break through those masks and make him truly smile and is willing to give up his own arm in order to keep Fay by his side, it's no wonder that most fans suspect that CLAMP is going down their traditional rout with these two.
What is so heterosexual about Kurogane? He's big, strong, and masculine, but if you don't think those are qualities that gay characters can possess, then you might want to take that up with Fuuma and Seishirou. It's not as though Kurogane has actively shown interest in any females on a romantic level. He's devoted to Princess Tomoyo, but devotion and love are two separate things, and Tomoyo is not the person through whom Kurogane was able to understand true strength.
Besides, bringing Tomoyo into this is so contradictory of her story in Cardcaptor Sakura: Tomoyo love for Sakura is proof that true love can be unrequited, and that unrequited love doesn't need to mean unhappiness. A core part of Tomoyo's character is the strength and maturity to find happiness without needing to be in a romantic relationship. She is able to be alone without being lonely, and that's a rare quality.
In a story where all other cross-over characters retain their true love from their original series, why should Tomoyo's love change? If Arashi still loves Sorata, and Ashura still loves Yasha, then why wouldn't Tomoyo still love Sakura? And if CLAMP actually went back on their message and created Kurogane just so that Tomoyo could have a boyfriend, then why would they then create him and Fay to be such intricately connected equals and opposites?"
If CLAMP intended for Tomoyo to be his love interest, that would be extremely creepy. My theory is that Tomoyo REMINDS him of his mother. Since Kurogane couldn't save his mother when she died, he sees Tomoyo as a "second chance" to protect what he couldn't when he was younger. It makes perfect sense. Although this argument seems invalid because of Syao x Saku, CLAMP's likely trying to make a point that the two are always together, no matter what form they're in. To have all THREE characters woo people who look exactly like their moms would be way too much, even for CLAMP.
