Tearing down Tiger Stadium - Part 6

August 1, 2008 - Demolition continues. All of the wall section along old Kaline Drive (service drive to I-75 and the Lodge) from Trumbull to Cochrane, is now reduced to rubbel and most has been hauled away. Happy news is that the group known as The Old Tiger Stadium Conservancy is working to preserve the portion of the stadium from along 3rd baseline to along 1st paseline, just past each dugout.

What a shame tearing down such a landmark. I saw soo many games there when I was a kid in the 80's and then in the 90's.
