Upload mp3s @ http://www.mp32tube.com My baby ever treats me sweet and gentle the way he should;
I got it bad and that ain't good!

My poor heart is sentimental not made of wood
I got it bad and that ain't good!
But when the weekend's over and monday rolls aroun'
I end up like i start out just cryin' my heart out
He don't love me like i love him nobody could
I got it bad and that ain't good!

Like alonely weeping willow lost in the wood
I got it bad and that ain't good!
And the things i tell my pillow no woman should
I got it bad and that ain't good!
Tho folks with good intentions tell me to save my tears
I'm glad i'm mad about him i can't live without him
Lord above me make him love me the way he should
I got it bad and that ain't good!

  • Wonderful!

  • Thank you for uploading this. It touches my soul this song it really does.

  • This is not I Got No..I've Got Life....

  • Was browsing in hope to find Esther Phillips's interpretation of that tune (July 1973 recording...I think?...) with that elusive guitarist of the name of Charlie Brown who I can remember plays on it like i'ts telling all that the words are missing. I am amazed that it is not to be found!? But Nina Simone is a great second best!

    Thanks for posting.

  • I was one of the authors of the port huron statement. The original port huron statement, not the compromised second draft.

  • "Remember the seattle 7? that was me."

    God I love this song.
