My dad was a veteran in the Canadian Armed Forces. If that doesn't give me the power of "citizen's arrest," what does? So I went to the George W. Bush event with the intention of arresting him as a citizen who is aware of gripes which protestors have. In the event, I was only a few meters away from him, and at any moment I could have stood up and projected my voice throughout the auditorium in a statement of citizens' arrest ... but Bush's anecdotes and ... dare I say ... his fatherly demeanor ... showed a human side I never saw on edited television ... so I did not arrest him. And the fact that he put himself in that situation among the public earned a lot of respect from me.

I agree. I don't like left wing freaks either. I also don't like right wing freaks. All freaks piss me off.

I'm one of the protesters who was a ticketholder. I watched his speech. And, even though I absolutely hate the man, I did enjoy the experience of watching him speak his lies.
