Barry Levinson's "Avalon" - Little Elijah Wood and the difference between "can or may" :)

Avalon (1990) is the third movie in the Baltimore series directed by Barry Levinson between 1982 and 1999 and also including "Diner" (1982), "Tin Man" (1987) and "Liberty Heights" (1999). Most known for movies like "The Natural" or "Rain Man", I think Barry Levinson gave his best with these four semi-autobiographical movies, all set in Baltimore during the 50's, among the Jewish immigrants community.

In this scene you can see the little, talented Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings, Everything is Illuminated) in one of the funniest moments in the movie.
