To Islandjadenbx: I am so sorry for your loss. I too loved this group and particularly this song Amie. Went to college and brought my albums, and my turntable, and played it over and over. I just LOVE this. This was Fall of 1975 in East Texas at Stephen F. Austin State Univ. Wonderful memories..just like you had with this song. I am 55, and have lost several close friends from grade school all the way to college, and further. I know how hard it is. Bless you, and RIP to your friend.

I saw PPL at the Plaza of the Americas at the University Of Florida (GO GATORS) around '76 or '77 (memories kinda fuzzy). I DO remember that it was a great show, and I've loved them ever since.

Back in the day, a concert smelled like a concert. I saw PPL in concert with The Marshall Tucker Band in '78. I went alone, but left with many new friends. Good music binds.  Thanks for the memories, guys.
