Weird TTFAF Glitch

I was playing Coop on Xbox live with my friend and he had a bad internet connection. When the song started, he got randomly disconnected. This left me playing alone. His part didn't make sound, it was on autoplay (so it didn't miss), his notes didn't count :(, and the fail out meter was just CRAZEH.
The song used in this video is in no way owned by me, and because I used this song in my video, DragonForce now owns my soul. (Please don't take away the sound because of copyright infringement)

I think he lost connection while the game was starting. the game didn't know what to do, so this happened
