Is there any digital pen that acts like livescribe and a pen-mouse?
I mean you can take notes with it, when you don't have a computer around, and it captures everything digitally, meanwhile you can use it as a mouse to do things online? I know about Bamboo, and tablets, but I don't like it to have a tablet or receiver.

Actually, it's a small writing-board sized thing that sits next to your computer. So you watch stuff on your screen, and write on the tablet.

Yes, if the paper is not too thick, then it should work. It will work with any software on your PC, including paint.
