@GuamKomudo i disagree if you do what they say and you follow simple sparing combos and you can actually block unlike the girl on the left then youre fine looking cool has nothing to do with ata looking good with proper technique yes

Im not to fond of ATA, I was in it for 3 years and swtiched. ATA teaches just tournament stuff, when I joined Kempo I could do the best and coolest kicks, but in sparring I always got punched in the face... ATA lacks just about everything accept looking cool, and I learned very fast that looking cool makes you loose unless your fighting another person that wants to look cool. When that girl kicked the other and she fell, everyone was like "Oh my god..." Thats normal in kempo lol

Yeah... I don't do just ATA. Watch my WTF videos, esp. the Washington State Championship. I was actually suprised because I didn't think she would fall over...
