LOL maybe it was all the Thai stick and nickle bags back then, but I never associated Sgt Pepper and this cover. Never dawned on me,But yes John was, so right. How did I miss that ?

Have a go at the fucking picture. It looks like some sort of half-assed take on Sgt. Peppers. Which, of course, is what it is, as John Lennon would have told you exactly, and he was right about how the Rolling Stones imitated like that. But its alright, because The Rolling stones are a very good act. There's still a lot of their own character in that image.
