@malenar650 Right on! Although it's true I never understood the fascination w/famous people, there just other humans! I ended up on this page cause I was surfing for concert clips, as I'm a huge DMB fan. I love the man's music, and I love the man, as he's a great guy and a role-model for other famous people. But I fail to see the point of filming him checking in to a hotel. I luv his music, what do I care how he checks into hotels? I check into hotels all the time... woop-dee-doo!

The only reason like this video is cuz its shows how much of a good person and an excellent dad Dave is. He says "hi" to the camera (even if they don't reserve it) and goes on to take his kids out of the car and not only that but plays w them while walking into the hotel. Obviously he is protecting his kids from the public eye and the circus media going on at that moment. Those little personal moments should remain "personal" and private, don't bug the man when he is with his family.
