Hi, I'm Mara with Fiber Art TV.
This horizontal sunset is part of my Sunset Series.
The top panel is wrapped and woven in three layers starting with a range of light to darker yellows, continuing into oranges. The final layer finishes the piece with reds. Cotton fiber and metallic threads are used for this original fiber technique.The panel is attached to a wrapped and woven bordering mat in black, with a black metal frame ready for hanging.
This piece reminds me of the September Sunsets on the Cape Cod bay.
