If you are this miserable in law school, then drop out NOW. The stress only gets worse when you become a lawyer. I've been practicing 18 years, so I know what I'm talking about.

@chris84bloom I had the same problem as you do: I´m 18 on my first year of Law school, and during high school I always thought I wanted to become a lawyer, but now that I had a taste of what the course is, and what my life as a lawyer might be, I dont want it anymore. And no, "life is life" is not a reason that justifies taking up a career you dont want. Life is quick, and to spend it doing something you dont want, thats just dumb.

I´m on law school in Portugal, my first year, but I am going to dropout. I don´t really like studying the Law that much, the work never ends (if you want to have good grades, obviously; and the way the work market is, only graduates with good marks get jobs), it is definitely one of the hardest course that is, and there are little jobs left out there, either here or in other countries.

My recommendation: Unless your one dream job is to become a lawyer, don´t go to Law school.
