I'm using a Digitech Jamman to record the classic U2's With or Without You. I'm playing a Seagul S6 Lefty with a Digitech RP250 effects pedal, a Remo Djembe, tamborine and whatnot all running through a Fender Passport 250 w/ a Lexicon MX200 reverb processor (if you wanted to know). If you didn't want to know, thanks for watching!

  • hey what kind of loop pedal are you using?

  • A Digitech JamMan.

  • :) how did you do the recording? was it a looping pedal? or does it come from the pa system itself?

  • I hit the looping pedal to record a phrase and then hit it again to stop it. From there, the loop continues to play. It requires some practice to have the measure/beat figured exactly so that it can "loop" and you can't tell that it is a loop. The whole thing is playing back through the PA system. Hope that helps!

  • wow, i clicked this to check out the fender passport, but got hooked by this kid's performance. nice job. keep up the good work.

  • Thanks for listening. And I'm 35, lol.

  • Not sure if you are still checking this thread or not but if you are...can you provide your thoughts on the Fender PA you're using? I am hoping to pick one up but wanted to hear from someone who is actually using one. Strengths and weaknesses, things you'd like it to have that it doesn't and the stuff you really like?

It would be really helpful and I would appreciate you taking the time. Cheers

  • You are amazing. Great stuff.

  • Cool! Hello from Ukraine!

  • Nice, inspirational and a good instructional how to use gear.

  • For this song, it is set at factory setting "4" with most of the knobs set to midway. I'm also doing a send/return through the PA as it gives the best sound. Hope that helps. Thanks for listening!
