A truly talented, funny and good man.
We were fortunate to experience his presence on earth.

Quaife - the perfect mod.
Imagewise the Kinks never recovered after he'd left, The Davies brother made sure to put a bearded dork in his shoes,so all the camera attention was aimed their way.
Don't believe it ? The constant petty infighting(reason why he left) was about lesser important things than that.

Oh wow, 59 Steeds Rd is actually my house!
I had the good fortune to meet Pete Quaife when he knocked at my door in 2005. (The Kinks were being inducted into the UK Hall of Fame.) He had a tour of his old family home and shared a few anecdotes with me, it was really quite surreal but amazing; he was a true gentleman, my condolences to his friends and family .
