  • I have Mixed feelings about your review, but I did vote it as positive.

I have no Idea why you kept asking your friend what he thought of the Radio's construction, since you had one in your hand and could visibly show us what you liked about each one.

The Wouxun seemed to be the clear winner, the sound from it was the best by a wide margin, that last HT was so muffled that I could hardly tell what your friend was saying. Also by looks and features the Wouxun blew away the rest

  • @Dreadlk Thanks for your vote, and your comments.. The reason I asked my friend what he thought of the construction etc, was to get another view point. The review isnt about just what I thought, but another users thought as well. This gives the viewer more to go on. cheers.

  • @m6pcg on my vhf kenwood radio if i put a vhf motorola antenna on it will it ruined my radio or i can do it

  • @rmarzella85 providing the frequencies are the same, and the connector fits, there shouldnt be a problem. Thanks.

  • Hi James, you mentioned that the KST is single band whereas the others are dual band. Does this mean that you can programme the Mitex for VHF as well even though it is sold as pre-programmed for UHF. Cheers. BTW, I am looking into getting my ham foundation licence so I can join in, Have a great weekend. Pete.

  • @weightlosssecretsrev The mitex is single band on UHF. I dont have any software to programme the Mitex yet but I am searching. Good look with your ham radio exam..
