So a dumb-shit puts the car in reverse and somehow it's a "runaway Toyota". Really?

man i wish i could hear the conversation better.. if i didnt know any better the driver was trying to tell the cop that the accelerator stuck thats why he was speeding and the cop didnt wanna hear it. "tell it to the judge"...but thats just me filling in the blanks of an incomplete story
and it still doesnt explain why he pulled out in reverse...

@LordLo If it was an automatic, the gear sequence goes from park (P) to reverse(R) and then neutral and drive and so on...i bet the transmision shifter got stuck too...

i drove over 2000000 miles in my life and i can tell you it's easier said than done.
be careful not to lock the steering wheel if you turn the key off, some of these cars don't have keys and you have to push the stop button for 3 seconds.
