  • @inthamix5 LOL well of course I didn't mean to leave all those out, but you pretty much get my point...

  • @Remnzt6Reloaded You forgot to mention she was on "Hot Boyz" with Nas and Eve as well as Ideal's "Whatever", Next's "Wifey", Jay-Z's "Parkin' Lot Pimpin" from his Dynasty Roc La Famila 2000 album, and Keith Sweat's "I'll Trade A Million Bucks".

  • @inthamix5 but if I could lastly add "Goldmind" edition might've been released with all the buzz Mo had got from being featured on Nicole Wray's "Make It Hot" CD & who could forget her top-charting collabo's with Ja Rule at the time! That would've pushed for a release however because "Ta Da" screwed up things, I think Missy didn't want to risk the "Goldmind" version to flop because Nicole's debut was lead by a top U.S. hit, released late & flopped on Billboard 200, so yeah... :/

  • @inthamix5 Mo's braids were makin her look fine as hell lol as for the "Goldmind" version, I think it was kinda best to shelve it because "Ta Da" wasn't exactly a perfect choice for a lead single & Missy normally pushes for artists with lead songs w/ a high position on the Hot 100 & a top 10 R&B hit; since "Ta Da" only made it to 95 on Hot 100, she had to delay Mo; so Mo split & chose the hypnotic "Superwoman" that was a perfect choice however the new album version was boring...

  • @inthamix5 there were no songs that matched to the beat or rhythm of "Superwoman" all those songs that did were on the "Goldmind" edition & Mo should've included those and dropped most of the new corny ones; so to answer your question finally it's a little "here" and "there" type thing, the "Goldmind" edition was praised by several critics yet it was tarnished by "Ta Da" being lead; and the 2001 one got lead by a hot track but the new songs were boring, so yeah it's kinda hard to say

  • @Remnzt6Reloaded Do you think Lil' Mo's Based on a True Story should've been released on Missy's Goldmind with "Starstruck", "Club 2G", "Nobody Somebody", and "What About The Children" or do you think it was best that she left the label when Elektra wanted her to wear a dress instead of braids on the cover of the album and risk getting it pushed back from its 2000 planned released date?

  • @inthamix5 but then when Tweet signed to the label, Missy yet again put Nicole on hault which ended up making Nicole leave the label; as for Mocha, it was the same, it was at the time when Tweet signed as well that Mocha decided to depart from the label & leave music altogether because she felt "shadowed" in her career that's why she ended up doing novels for a little while; also "Who You Foolin" was never an actual song that was a rumor; Nicole & Mocha supposedly did the demo for her

  • @inthamix5 I see what you're saying & I kida agree but when you say she would've never met TC & focused on Mo AND Nicole, you have to remember Missy normally focuses on one artist at a time & she would've put Nicole & Mocha on hault why else do you think she had to push back "Bella Mafia" further away from its early 2000 planned release date when Mo stepped in the picture; also when TC & Mo left, for a while Missy focused on Nicole, she included Nicole's website on MissE...SoAddictive

  • @Remnzt6Reloaded But Lil' Mo's Based on a True Story was suppose to be released on Missy's Goldmind when she was posing in a dress on the album cover and wearing short hair and makeup on the back cover, and she was suppose to have songs like "Starstruck" which featured Missy, "Club 2G", "What About The Children", "Nobody Somebody" and "Who You Foolin". I just think if Missy never met or even heard of TC and just focused on Lil' Mo, Nicole Wray, and Mocha it would've furthered their careers.

  • @inthamix5 Well I"m unsure about that; when Nicole & Mocha released their buzz singles back in the summer of 2000, radio airwaves completely ignored and it didn't happen the way Missy & Elektra had hoped so that ended up pushing their LPs back, furthermore if you notice Missy tried everything to market Mocha, she put "mardi gras" on Elektra samplers, released this song as a lead single all in 2000, but when she was promoting Lil' Mo, T.C. & Tweet at the time it was too complicated so yeah... :/
