I was right on the harbour... I was 7 years old, on my dad's shoulders. I miss that place.

Awesome thing about these fireworks are that it is fired above the Opera House, unlike 2010, it is only the awesome Sydney Harbour Bridge =D

Thank-you very much for uploading this. I work in a care home for elderly residents and they could not have a firework display,(due to health and safety regs) but they loved this and there were lots of oooohs and ahhhhs!

Great video. I watched the Sydney Y2K celebrations while eating breakfast here in North America. CNN showed the Harbour Lanterns along with Iva Davies' performance. When midnight struck, the fireworks were nothing short of incredible.
