Are the schedules the different grades of the pipe? Are higher schedules more durable?

@faYte0607 That's a great question. I found a comparison of Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 PVC pipe online. The 1" Schedule 80 pipe is slightly thicker and can withstand higher water pressure. However, it seems that Schedule 40 pipe is what is sold in the stores most of the time. Actually, I've never seen Schedule 80 pipe in stores.

you can get PVC pipe cutters for about $4 at Harbor Freight Tools. They have awesome prices!

@faYte0607 Sch 80 is very thick and much stronger, but it is also more expensive.
