@brishi1157 This song comes from the wives of the missing from the dictatorship of Pinochet in Chile, a part of the song even name it. They see women dancing with a handkerchief cueca alone, was a tradition that shook Sting. In any case it is a universal song for this type of abuse in the world

MY son is taking Spanish, so I shared this with him. He was able to read most of the Spanish lyrics. Really a beautiful song. Very Poetic. Hard to believe that people can be that cruel to a fellow Human.

as an argentinian i cry every time i hear this song. it describes one of the most horrible events of our national history. but the beautiful thing is the tribute it has towards the Mothers and Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo. THANK YOU STING!
