http://www.kappadanielson.com Happy President's Day!!
This is a request I've been intending to record for a while. The pictures are of my family and some fortunate others helping to change the flag at Fort McHenry - where the Star Spangled Banner was written!! It was soooo cool...if you ever have the chance to do that....highly recommended.

In 1814, Francis Scott Key was held captive aboard a British ship during a night of pivotal battle in the War of 1812 - a war that was crucial in maintaining our new nation's independence. In the dawn's breaking light he saw our "star spangled banner" flying in triumph over the fort...proving the victory of the night before. He penned a poem entitled "The Defense of Fort McHenry" which became the lyrics to our national anthem. :)))) I am fortunate to have been born and raised here in this land....where I have always felt that I could do and be whatever I had the talent and energy to obtain. "Land of the free....home of the brave." May our nation's best days always be ahead of us. ;)))

  • That was beautiful, even though like Marco noticed the mike looks big, maybe made in Texas.

  • @arvidmr ha ha ha...it is a big mic.....a condensor....I use it as a live gig bluegrass mic to pick up the band too. It's also blue and shiny like saphires...lol... one of the "prettiest" mics I've seen....so it makes a good "girl" mic :))

  • Wow Wow ... Great ... thats the real America !

    Freedom to ALL PEOPLE !

  • @DiegoDuese yay to that...life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all people everywhere....:)) One of the things I love most about this country's ideals individual freedom...free to believe what my heart leads me to believe....and my neighbor beside me, the same.

  • Your rendition of the National Anthem would bring chills to the most hardened cynic. Happy Presidents Day to you and yours. ~ Mark
