was this really 600 dollars? if so, what's a good headphone amp that would make my sennheiser hd595's sound really good that wouldn't cost that much, more around 40 or 50 dollars?

That's steep.

Can anyone recommend a portable headphone amp that you can get in the UK for less than £100?

Also, how much would you think I need one if I bought a pair of Sennheiser HD 595's?

Thanks

i dont htink its that strange, there are so much iPod fakes but the people just buy the original one so they havent to do anything and besides the new shuffle is out now,so noboby will show interest in the shuffle 2d gen anymore.
glad i could help you

you wont really even need an amp if u buy the new 595s they're only 50 ohms. If u have an amp though get the hd 555 instead a lot cheaper and just the same sound ...even a bit better but needs more powerr...i reckon...i think

Good idea.

And I didn't notice the impedance came down.
