When the Vatican's Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, released a document on ways to improve the world's financial crisis, the report got mixed reviews. One of its supporters is the head of the Anglican Church, Dr. Rowan Williams.

Good work! it is the Church's duty to care for the people NOT just for salvation but also for protection because the world is going to have an economic failure if it doesn't listen or take advice from the document.

I have to wonder what faceless unnamed personages in the Vatican bureaucracy is respeonsible for this document. Who would be responsible for this global tax? Are the world's nations simply to institute this imposition on the economy seperately? Doesn't sound like it. Has no one @ the Vatican ever heard of the principle of "No taxation w/o representation?" I think many people @ the Vatican have absorbed the EU mentality of contempt for democracy & individual liberty.
