from Jean-Pierre Ponnelle's 1980 film adaptation of 'La Clemenza di Tito', with the Vienna Phil conducted by Levine.

filmed at various locations in Italy, Ponnelle's cameraman was Carlo di Palma-who worked with Fellini and Antonioni.

  • Wow--I saw this years ago on PBS when I was first getting into opera--wonderfully weird production, glorious music, with an unforgetable overture.

  • It's amazing how many Mozart pieces we are on youtube and every says it's a masterpiece. A work of genius. Yea, Mozart was pretty good. :)
